The Care Quality Commission (CQC) are the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England.
They are funded by the government to ensure that care provided by hospitals, dentists, ambulances, care homes and elsewhere meets government standards of quality and safety.

On the 29th September 2011, the CQC carried out an unannounced routine visit to South Manchester Private Clinic. During their visit, the CQC inspectors spoke with members of staff, clients and client supporters. There overall report shows that South Manchester Private Clinic is meeting all the essential standards of quality and safety.
